About the Studios

A division of The Directors, LLP, The Directors Studios is dedicated to making sure you have the best possible rehearsal experience possible.

We know how hard it is to find quality rehearsal space with free parking and easy access at a reasonable price in the Twin Cities. We have experienced the same frustrations. This is why we created The Directors Studios – based on the notion of a space we would actually like to rehearse in ourselves (and we do!).

Our staff represents over 100 years in the creative, producing, management, and touring areas within the arts and entertainment industry. Our offices are on site, adjacent to the studios. Please stop by and introduce yourself!!

About The Directors LLP

Formed in 2005 by Producing Artistic Director Steve Barberio, The Directors is a production company and presenter of the performing arts. Building a network of venues across the United States, it tours its own theatre productions and those of other artists with The Love Knot as its first major tour. The Directors also operates The Directors Studios in Minneapolis, the rehearsal home of many artists and arts organizations and recently announced its role as the new management of The Music Box Theatre, in downtown Minneapolis.
